Volunteer Requirements

At the Child Crisis Center, volunteers are an essential part of our mission to provide safety, stability, and hope to children and families in crisis. By giving your time and compassion, you become a source of comfort and strength for those who need it most.

Whether you are helping at events, supporting programs, or assisting behind the scenes, your involvement directly impacts the lives of vulnerable children in our community. Together, we can create brighter futures — one act of service at a time.

To ensure the safety and well-being of the children and families we serve, all volunteers must meet the following requirements:

• Complete a Volunteer Application
   
• Pass a background check (for volunteers 18+)
   
• Attend a Volunteer Orientation/Training
   
• Commit to scheduled shifts or event timelines
   
• Follow all confidentiality and safety policies
   
• Maintain a respectful and professional demeanor at all times
   

Additional requirements may apply depending on the volunteer role (e.g., direct client interaction, special events, group projects)
