The Child Crisis Center is deeply grateful for your generous food donations! However, to ensure the safety and well-being of the children we serve, we can only accept non-perishable and shelf-stable items. This means we cannot accept food that is expired or nearing its expiration date.
1. Grains: Cereal, cookies, chips, pasta (all shapes and sizes!), rice (white or brown), grits, oatmeal.
2. Milk & Milk Products: Milk, Evaporated milk, condensed milk, shelf-stable milks (almond, oat, etc.), cheese (mozzarella, American), canned pudding.
3. Fruit & Fruit Products: Canned fruit, applesauce, fruit cups (in 100% juice).
4. Eggs: Eggs.
5. Meat & Poultry: Canned meats (tuna, chicken, ham), canned chili, dried beans (pinto, black, kidney), peanut butter.
6. Fish: (We do currently accept fish)
7. Vegetables: (We do accept fresh vegetables)
8. Fats & Oils: Canned cooking oil, vegetable shortening.
9. Legumes, Nuts & Seeds: (We do accept legumes, nuts, or seeds)
10. Desserts: Cake mix, frosting, shelf-stable pudding cups.
11. Snacks: Chips, Fruit Gummies, Granola Bars, fruit leather, packaged dessert snack cakes.
Please note: Due to health standards, we cannot accept food that is expired or nearing its expiration date.
